FERAL INCOMING!!!! Three More Kittens Just Arrived From The Hoarder's Trailer (#651-653)

Hey, everyone.

Just heartbreaking.

These three kittens just arrived from the hoarder's trailer, where they were kept inside and without sunlight from the moment they were taken in by him.

The man is mentally ill and genuinely loves the cats but is incapable of understanding how to care for them.

It is so very sad.

The orange and stripped kittens are so feral they cannot be touched – we can't even tell if they are male or female – while the grey boy kitten is nothing but love and is starved for human contact.

It is so hard to figure out how all of these cats came from the same situation.

What is indisputable is that they are full of worms and fleas and suffer from upper respiratory infections and eye infections.

The little grey has mites in his ears that are so bad he can barely stand up due to bad balance because of an inner ear infection... That is why his head is tilted in all the pictures!

It is going to be a long road back to health for these babies.

Here are a few more pictures of the little ones...

FIERCE!

Pensive

Tilted!

Updates will keep rolling in.

FERAL INCOMING!!!! Hoarder Kept Dozens Of Cats And Kittens In His Trailer With No Light Or Fresh Air (#647-650)

Hey all!

These are the cases you hate to see.

We were alerted that a mentally ill man was hoarding cats and kittens in his small trailer, which he had blackened out all the windows and kept tightly sealed all day long.

The man – who genuinely loved the cats – did not know he was hurting them, but the conditions were so bad and unsanitary that they all had upper respiratory ailments, eye infections, and were terribly underweight.

The above pictures were taken almost two weeks after the cats arrived here with us giving them constant antibiotics (Clavamox), Terramycin for their eyes, and fleas meds.

You can imagine the shape they were in when they got here.

There are at least 12 more that are either headed here or to foster homes.

These little ones are very feral and hate being handled... This is going to be a tough socialization that could take months.

Here are a few more pictures of the babies as they are getting used to being in the intake room with access to sunlight and fresh air...

We are receiving 3 more of these poor kittens today so updates to come.
