KITTEN INCOMING! Pumpkin And Casper Are Going To Their Forever Home (#655-656)

About 2 years ago, we rescued a gorgeous cat for an elderly woman who had just lost her husband, so she needed help to capture the feral cat.

The cat, a Maine Coon, which is an exceptionally large breed, was emaciated and weighed only 8 pounds fully grown!

Those who know adult Maine Coons usually weigh in at 20 pounds EASY at that age!

So we nursed her back to health and found her a great home, and it all ended up great.

Here she is today...

Fast forward to last month.

The very same woman called us out of the blue, saying she had found two beautiful orange boy kittens abandoned in her neighborhood in Bayshore, NY.

We told them to call their local shelter because that is quite a ways from us but the woman refused and said she would only turn them over to us because she knew what a great job we had done and didn't think her shelter would give them enough attention.

Also, she said she knew we would find the two little ones a good home.

We couldn't say no.

Pumpkin and Casper go in for their final vet visit and neutering tomorrow and they already have a home lined up when they get back.

Another happy adoption!

We will try to get pictures of the two after they have settled in.
